why drive a lexus as opposed to a toyota? its my personal preferance.

I would go with the swiss for sure, the clones are just not as reliable IMO.... And if they were dont you think that our resident modders would be offering these in their builds.... Mark will have the GMT you seek in the swiss movement for around that price, mabye a bit more.... I've been really happy with my GMT with no problems at all.... Good Luck!!!

I have the Asian 3135 (2836 clone with Bridge) and I couldn't be happier. I think any 28XX clone or Swiss would be fine. The 3135 version is not necessary IMO. The only reason I have the 3135 is that I bought it from another member. (convenience.)

Hey PamLuver80,
I purchased the similar version from "Trusty" ($208) with the Asian 2836/ 28800 bph movement. I think it's really nice. My only issue I have with it is that the updated bracelet did not have the "easy link" adjustment feature that's on my BK Subs. (with the updated bracelet.)

QUICK question: those of you with the swiss movements, do you notice the wobble effect when the watch is on your wrist? Let me know, I just got my wife a 21J movement and theres a huge wobble in it.

You can get the Swiss one from MR for 228$

I got the same watch from timeshop with the swiss movement for 205 shipped ems to Cali.

MR = marvelous reps, they offer similar products at a slight higher price. The qc process with them is impeccable.

I purchased a 21j GMTIIc while waiting on my BK Sub and surprisingly impressed with how accurate that piece is. It is keeping accurate time +/- 1 min everyday for the past month. The GMT hand works even though it is ICHS but for $135.00 it was a steal.

Now once I received my BK Sub with authentic ETA movement I began to see the difference. Side by side is the only way you can actually see the slight movement variation.

I own gens and replicas now and that 21j GMTIIc is keeping stride with my gen COSC certified watches and my ETA Swiss BK Sub. I heard they (21j) were workhorses but wow.

Either way you will be impressed with the GMTIIc build, quality and how close it is to looking gen. May need to re-lume your dial and AR the cyclops but otherwise your budget range will get you a great watch is your purchase from a AD.

Also, waterpoof it as well. My crystal was not pressed on my GMT.
