Looks good man. Date mag looks decently placed, rehaut engraving isn't perfect but then that's a very rare thing that they are. Wear it well :)

King, it's really easy. The bracelet parts are just held together with little screws. Get a jewelers screwdriver set, or precision screwdrivers they are sometimes called. Just unscrew them, take out as many links as you need and then screw back together :)

KIng., The one thing about the GMT that makes it an ideal rep, in my opinion, is the lack of a pearl !!.. No-one jumping on you and saying "That pearl is 3/4 of a milli out". Make sure the other hour hand works. Ive a TT version, beautiful watch but the hour hand runs out. Nothing I cant live with, except the next time I jump on a plane and need it.!!

Most of the bracelet screws are so loose you can take them out with ur fingernails, lol... but u'll need a small screwdriver to tighten them back up : ) and make sure to check them once in awhile because they frequently work themselves loose, if it happens a lot just put a TINY drop of loctite on the threads before screwing them back in.

Just got mine from TS, +1 on a lack of a pearl, its just one less thing to be wrong

Not trying to thread crap, because I too am wanting a GMT II, but how is the TT gold plating holding up on your rep? And what is meant by "the hour hand runs out."?

Thanks, Marty

You guys gave great tips...
Now since I don't have a screw driver set and what not.. do you think it would be just as good to takr it to a sears then to an actual watch repair place to get the watch fitted

--current status (watch is in customs)

So I received the watch today and it looks absolutely amazing, I'm still surprised how fast I received it ..
Anyways...
I quickly took the watch to the watch repair place next to my house.
when I brought in the watch ,the Japanese watch repair man, quickly grabbed the watch from me and took it to the back... what the hell I thought to myself...
Less than 20 seconds later he comes back and asks ... do you need it resized.
Yeah I said,
then he said okay.. maybe next time you'll bring me a real gen.

It kind of urked me.. but whatever.

Quick question, how often do I need to wind this watch ..
And does this watch even require winding ?

Also what is the real point of the 24 hour green hand.. and is it supposed to move ?

Sorry for such noob questions !!

Did the guy resize it for you? Wind it once and then it should be good to go, will run off movement from then. GMT hand is for keeping track of time in another time zone. Trailboss/DrVerylong (forget which) told me that today :) I got one today too.

Wait, was he being rude to you? How did he tell (Most watch repairers wouldn't know any tells without cracking the movement out)

Good looking watch,
Did the repair man crack the back, if so did he take time to
silicone grease the crown/back seals

I have no idea what he did back there.
He prob did open the back.. who knows..
I did find it rude, that he said that comment.
But whatever.
I got my watch sized, abd that's what matters to me.
The movement is identical to that of my friends gen.
Thank you guys.
