(RM) GMTII

I am looking at a GMTII from RM. I noticed that one is a Ultimate version and the other is just a Swiss. The price difference is about $70.00, so whats the difference between the two?

The ultimate probably has the asian rolex 3135 clone movement.

Be sure to get the "easy link" updated bracelet , if you want it. To my disappointment, my GMT IIc (ultimate) didn't come with it.

As other have said above. New Rolex reps come with 3135 Asian clone which is nickel plated and has red wheels to try and imitate a rolex movement. They also should come with the updated Rolesor bracelet clasp.

So the difference is the serial number one is a V and one is a Z. $70.00 more for the V...

Well, no. One has the 3135 nickel plated asian clone and the other has a swiss movement.
