It looks as if the logo was sanded down quite a bit after a refinishing job.

I'm by no means a Rolex expert, I'm just saying that the bottom and top of the crown look to be a bit sanded down but it could be due to the lighting and all. Don't take my word for it!

looks gen to me. Pins look right, engraving looks right, links look right. Crown on clasp looks a bit odd but it looks like the clasp has been polished up to get rid of scrathes, looks like this around the side edges too.

Would struggle to say 100% from those pics but if I had to lay money down I would say it was gen.

I know zero about rolex but a fair bit about polishing. That has been sanded quite heavily and polished up.

Looks like yuki with different end links.

With these old rolex parts it's really difficult to know. Sometimes the only way to be "quite sure" is to buy from a reputable seller, known to sell true gen parts.

The seller is from India, and he is doing business on eBay since 2001 with a really good feedback. He claims, that the bracelet is genuine. What is a reasonable price for these? Im seeing these from 300 to 1300.

40 years old rolex parts don't fall from the sky. This seller seems to have quite a few rolex bracelets for sale, and sold a whole lot more. How would he finds himself in possession of so much old rolex bracelets?

40 years ago, there was only a very few rolexes in India, and most of these watches are still in one piece. And for the record, no one stores thousands of $$ in vintage rolex parts and sells them on ebay. Even a former service center.

I would ask the seller for the origin of that bracelet. If he don't want to answer or if the story involves flea market, estate sale, .... just walk away.

It as been heavily sanded that's for sure, but was that a refinishing or an attempt to make it look older?
