Left for S.F. a week ago still not in country

Im not sure if this is extremely odd or extremely usual, but my EMS tracking has my package leaving for San Francisco on Saturday the 27th and the USPS does not show it is in country yet. Does this mean its lost in shipping/hijacked by customs/ terrorists stole it/ etc. I cut and posted what was on their websites for you to see below.

May never show anything else on USPS lots of shipments are now handled in the US by DHL on behalf of EMS if this is the case with this then DHL will have renumbered it with one of their airway bill numbers.

Unfortunately they keep them a secret and there is no way of finding them. Once you have received it if you check the number on the pack you will see what happened and when but until it arrives you are in the dark if DHL has adopted it

It's not either, it's par for the course. Tracking of any sort is hit or miss. I've had packages that still showed processing in china arrive at my door step.

ok thanks, I had heard the tracking was terrible on the EMS site, but i assumed that the USPS would be spot on. As long as things are normal im not worried.

Im not sure how it sat in customs for 9 days and made it through but whatever.
