How tight do you wear your watch?

Obviously we have all seen a lot of wrist shots on the site, but I am wondering how tight many of you wear your watches including SS bands, leather, and rubber straps?

Do you let your SS bands turn around on your wrist? Are they tight enough to leave marks? Clearly this is personal preference, but kind of interesting.

I wear all my bands fairly tight, I hate my watch to be moving around a lot on my wrist, but sometimes it is annoying since it leaves marks.

For the Oyster Bracelet, I like to have it just tight enough that it has a little bit of play. Can't turn around my wrist or go up and down by much. As my wrist under the watch warms up slightly, it fits quite snugly, but doesn't really leave a mark unless the day or I am very hot.

If it's really hot or I've been running I pop the comfort link and then it moves with a fair bit of play. Still nowhere near enough to turn around though.

For my black croc leather strap, I have it quite tight, tight enough there is no play at all. If it's hot, this does leave a noticeable mark on my wrist but it quickly goes away. I find that if I leave it too loose, it sticks around the edges but the watch itself moves up and down my wrist, sort of like... like it's on a pivot, the weight of the watch moves towards or away from my wrist based on arm position. Hard to explain but yeah, not much play on leather.

I like to wear all mine loose whatever the material. Its nice to know it's still there when I feel it shift about and I don't have fiddle with cuffs and clothing to check the time. I can't stand the restriction and sweaty feeling I get with a tight strap. But then maybe I'm just sweatier than most....

As with AHX i have my Rollie just loose enough for some play but it doesn't rotate or muve forward and back on the wrist.
My leather bank i have that the same

But with my Chopard on rubber the holes on it are either way too tight and the other is just a bit too loose for my liking.
Saying that i wear it on the looser hole as otherise it does leave bad marking and the deployment clasp pinches and dig in.

I leave it loose enough to be able to put my pinky finger inside the band. I do not like to see it floating around my wrist. I'm not 18 years old with baggy pants down to my ass making $10 bucks an hour. So I don't like my watch looking like that .

I dont wear my watches as tight as I used to, starting having some continuous stress problems from pinching on the underside of my wrist and typing all day on my watch hand.

depends totally on the size and weight of the watch.

I wear my SA really tight because the weight requires it or it will slip an slide all over the place

I wear my Daytona looser because it doesn't want to move around the same.

Depends on the watch really, luckily when I wear my AP ROO on hornback it´s either REALLY tight witch look kind of weird next hole is slightly loose in the morning and around lunch it sits perfect.
All my Rolex watches sits tight enough to not move around much but not really leaving marks.

The only watch that I personally think is a great "tight fit" watch is PP Nautilus burnt dial thats sits like a king on my fat dad´s wrist ;)
Sure makes it look like the real deal haha!

I like the tightness that I can get from my leather straps as well as rubber but when it comes to bracelets and links I like them with a fingers worth of space. The metal starts to wear my wrist away.

I used to have a GEN Breitling Bentley, and the same applies now with me SA. I wear/wore those a bit tighter. Since they are so big and heavy, it takes a little tighter adjustment. But you don't want it so tight that your hand starts turning purple :)

I like SS a little loose, enough to slide a bit but not spin around. Currently most my SS are too tight because I'm recovering from a broken wrist and it is still a little swollen.

I wear leather and rubber more snug, not loose enough to slide.

On a bracelet. Just behind the wrist bone, with sufficient to get the little finger tip in. It doesnt fall down below a shirt cuff, just sufficient on show to see the edges/ Wear it in front of the wristbone and the winder will wear on your hand. ALWAYS on the left wrist.
On a strap, similar but a little tighter as the hweight of the case will make it turn on your wrist

Snug enough that it doesn't bind on the wrist but won't slip 'n slide either.

Pretty much the same as watsondog. With a bracelet, snug behind the wrist (I have an 8" wrist) with a fingertips clearance forward of that. Leather and rubber are, of course, a little more forgiving but I like deployants so I stick with the finger rule. Index, not little. With a Zulu it needs to be snug but the thickness of the band still merits "the finger" for comfort.

I've found on my new DSSD that I prefer it a little looser than most other watches. I don't really have to remove any links and any adjustment from there I find unsatisfactory. Oddly, the sequence of the links keeps that big hunk of steel from moving around much. Like BMW, I don't want to look "gangsta" but the fit is growing on me.

I like mine with a little bit less than 2 inches of play up and down my wrist, anymore is too loose.

I wear my watches snug no matter what, both bracelets and straps. I play piano for a living so I can't have my watch moving around and adding to my music. Also, it is just uncomfortable wearing it loose, I can't stand the feeling of that. I would think it is not good for the watch long term if it is banging around during every move you make.

I run my Sinn quite loose, as it's on a rubber strap. The rubber grips the skin quite well, so you don't have to go nuts on tightness.

My PO is a bit annoying, as it's too tight with a half link out, or too loose with it in. Those Omega bracelets need some fine adjustment options! I run it loose, as it drives me nuts after a full day on with it too tight. I've just gotten used to having it slide up and down my wrist a bit. It's not so loose that it spins right round though.

I'd say my recently acquired Milgauss is just perfect. It sits on my wrist great (can just get my little finger under the bracelet), and as a couple of guys have mentioned so far, the comfort link is always there if it gets a bit tight on occasions.
