Hi all fellow members and admins,

I sold a watch to a VIP buyer and he received it but raised a dispute in PP to take back his money.Reason is,there is a spot at 2 hr marker which I have SIGNIFICANTLY and CLEARLY stated in my advertisment.Morever,I have also taken few pictures on the watch to show the spot.I offer no warranty and return but I know there is little I can do about this.

I know I can't stop him taking the money from my PP but please advice what can I do?

I think you are on the losing end as you are selling a rep. If this is disclosed, it is likely that PP will choose to penalize you and suspend your account. PP will probably not want to be seen endorsing the sale of reps.

You can ask for the return of your merchandise for the refund. This sounds fair, but it is probably not the justice you are looking for. Further, he may not agree to do so or actually do so.

The best option should be name and shame. In addition to his nick, you probably have his mailing address and contact info. Publishing these information will lead to him not being to sell another watch or participating in this community.

Respond back the dispute by asking buyer return merchandise for refund.

Contacted the buyer to ask for returned of watch and will refund accordingly.Hate all the hassle but really irks me when some buyer refused to read description and complaint later. So I guess no warranty and return doesn't mean anything ...=)

1) Get all monies out of PayPal except what is needed to refund him. IMMEDIATELY! If he mentions "rep", your monies will be frozen.

2) Insist he return the watch if he is demanding his money back. Immediately inform the mods of what is going on and with whom.

3) If the watch does not arrive within a week (or however long it took to get to him), then name him here and publish his real name and location. Do the same on other rep forums, or ask others here to help with that.

This really sucks. I hope you get your watch back. If not, let us know who the sniveling little bastard is.

Yes looking at it certainly I am on the losing end.I have asked him to return the watch and told him to cancel the dispute after I refunded him.Yes,I may never see the watch again thats the negative side being the seller.

I am not sure name and shame is the right thing to do at this early stage but it certainly will do the community good to prevent future issues like this..

This is a buyer no-one wants to have to deal with.

Failing to read the ad is one thing - but filing a Paypal dispute because of it is completely unacceptable.

your thread looks as crystal clear as can be.
can't believe someone would raise a dispute, totally unacceptable.

are there any mod's advising you through this, doesn't seem to be a response
on the thread as yet.

Total BullShat here. Why would a member do this type of thing? I hope this gets resolved one way or another friend.

The "buyer" should have to explain his actions to admin and why his membership should be allowed to stand.

Guys thanks for all the positive responses.Buyer has closed PP dispute citing he forgot reading about the details and now has owned up for it.He wanted extra links and pin (which I did not highlight I have any)as the current one (one pin is shorter in length)are a bit hard to exchange strap.I said I am gonna help him out to source for it through local dealer.

Hope all well ends well!

????

Well, first of all, I've read the thread, but it was shipped after three weeks and I forgot all about it. PP dispute was closed right away and both seller and me are on a good terms. I wonder who in a world is this guy making executive decisions?
Speaking of seller, I personally been burned so many times on this forum with flee claims, so I have to be careful and recommend other to do so!

By the way I don't want links and pins for FREE. I've asked for help to BUY them, if it was not clear!

Shit happens to everybody, so relax and stop craving about ! Enough is enough!
