Hello to allof you, people with very good taste! This is my first post in this forum, and I know it should be with some good comment, but the truth is that I need your help...

RecentlyI bought a SOH, and it came with the glass all scrathed. You can only see them in certain algles...I'm thinking that some of you could help me to find a good dealer of this piece (a good AR sapphire) so I can place an order. When I look at the watch in some angles, the only thingI can see are the scratches:facepalm:.
It's a really nice watch (the bronw dial) and I want to keepit, but only with the glass replaced.

Thank you all for your help!!!

If it came that way from a trusted dealer, I would return it. Sapphire is an expensive part to replace out of your own wallet when it's someone esle's fault.

You could send you current crystal to get an AR treatment from taka or the like. This would probably be the easiest.

Hi, I'm in Brazil, and here this service isn't that easy to find.
Send mine to do the AR again, will take to much time, the customs here are tooooo slow...
And yes, it came this way from the dealer, and I only noticed it after 3 days when it arrived to me because I was out of town for business (the seller doesn't take returns and I always bought from him, without any problem). Is there any seller that would sell one to me?! Any idea of the price?

Thank you again!

You could PM Smidsy about sourcing the parts for you... but he's away for a few days. Or, like trk said, you can see if just redoing the AR will conceal the scratches, since they're probably not through to the sapphire... unless your watch was shipped in diamonds ;)

LOL, thank you MrYesterday!

I will see with the Smidsy and wait for his answer...

Hello my Brazilian friend !

I am from Brazil too, and, even not able to tell you about a crystal dealer nearby, I have a little experience with Taka.

A few months ago I sent him 2 crystals for AR service and they came back gorgeus.

It took almost 2 months going and getting them back, but worth the wait.

PM me if you wish.

Estou a disposição, abraços brasileiros ;)
