Hi guys,

i have a problem here.. i bought some 2 Rolexes from trusted dealer (China) and shipping was to EU.
for the 1st time it was held in customs and i said please send package back,it's not mine. I thought i'll try another courier, maybe i'll be lucky because till now everything was just fine.
But 2nd time wasn't better. Customs held my package and issued a protocol saying "we held your shippment due possible brand breach and ect"
i've sent them invoice wich they asked me and i asked dealer for 791 USD (i paid the same) i thought i'll pay customs fees and that's it, but no. They just holded and that's it.

My question to you is there any solvation for such cases? or just to forget it. Is there anybody has such experience?

Thanks a lot.

What country are you in?

Basically if you get a customs letter your best bet is to ignore it and tell the dealer. Sending them an invoice proving you bought fake watches isn't the best plan :/

Yes there is. Look for a dealer that can send it via the UK. Not a trusted dealer, but amongst others Josh from Perfect Clones offers that option.

No good outcome here.
In the future NEVER admit you know anything about the package. Sending them proof you bought illegal goods is never a good idea.
In what country are you located?
You may have better luck with shipping from the UK. Narikaa and Precious Time both ship from the UK, and Marvelous Replica can ship through a UK middleman.

To be honest if they've got your package and they suspect it to be a fake then they'll probably destroy it along with the hundreds of thousands of other fakes. You could contest it and see if they are able to tell it's a fake. But you'll prob just hav to walk away and take the hit. See what other more experienced members say.

i haven't declared that there are fakes, it was written in invoice that there are change parts for watches. but you know those x-rays,they see everything.
i have read in other forum that some guys tells "good"stories, like these watches were resent after repairing them and so on.
but you know customs policy about China..:)

i'm from Lithuania.
so i guess it's just to forget it..damn

Does anybody tried Andrews service whithin UK? He is good but i haven't tried his service over UK...

You MUST NEVER admit on ordering counterfeit goods. It's illegal to buy those no matter where you are and you can get prosecuted for that!!! NEVER DO IT! I would've be surprised if you get served really.

Josh is not a trusted dealer and he was definitely not the first to be shipping to the UK. Matter of fact he started copying our very own Replica Make and Marvellous Replica. Just stick with OUR trusted dealers

Hmm. I don't think I can recall an actual instance of anyone being summoned to court since I've been a member here. Got an example, Q?

Not on the forum. A guy from my university ordered a whole bunch of replica LV bags and wallets and he did get sued. Dunno what happened after that because he was expelled from uni.

That makes more sense, because it could be inferred that multiple items could mean intent to sell. I really doubt anyone is going to get summoned over a watch or two.

Nevertheless it can never be of any benefit admitting you ordered a bunch of illegal goods.

they are actually planning a change of the law on that in denmark, as we speak, untill now it has been legal to buy and own reps, just not legal to import it, hence the customs agressive behavior against shipments containing reps. but if you are caught you only have to let the item go, and loose a few bucks, that's all.
If you get "caught, comming home from a holiday in thailand with a handfull of reps (different ones) you'll go right through.
If you recieve one or two different reps, you will be contacted by the company, whos brand you violated, but only as a civil matter.
however if you recieve 2 identical items, by mail, it will be seen, as ave said, with intend to sell.
-sadly this liberal law is about to change......
