What is the current state of things in Santee alley - headed to SoCal for spring break. Wanted to venture down to the alley and come-up with something even if it is a cheap piece of, well you get the rest. Anything I should know, where to look, secret handshake, etc....

I live in North SD County. Are you talking about the city of Santee ? Besides rednecks and trailer parks, I have no idea what's going on in that area.
Oh god. That place ?? Lol. I was there about a year ago. First time in my life that I saw a fake IPhone for sale. People selling animals on the corners, etc. Looked like I had women up in Istanbul. I have no clue why you or anyone else would want to make a return to that rat hole.
For all the reasons you listed, nothing like it in Oklahoma - good for the entertainment value if nothing else....
Just have to do like you do in New Orleans and not carry a wallet - just rubber band what cash, your ID, and like one credit card together and put it in your front pants pockets....
After the past two days everything might have floated away... Hell, I think I saw Noah's Ark on the 5 last night!
