First and Last Order - Yacht-Master 226627 Titanium Clean

Lets start off, communication was great and responsive. Received watch within 8 day with no issues.

Now lets get to the watch.. Ordered the new Yacht-Master 226627 Titanium Clean 1:1 Best Edition Black Dial On Titanium Bracelet SH3235

I am by no means a nit picker and I have read many reviewers as such. Overall, watch from Clean is indeed a clean watch. Looks great.. from the outside.. except for the glass is NOT etched.... yes i know how to look for the crown etching and there is NON on this glass. Now lets get to the internals. After wearing the watch for several days straight i noticed the watch continues to grow by a few seconds a day.. guess that's normal. I took the watch off on Friday at around 4pm. Figured, lets test out the 72 hour stated reserve.. Wow to my surprise.. I look at the watch a day later Saturday afternoon and great.. still running.. didn't pickup the watch lets give it another 24 hours.. By Sunday morning at around 8am... another surprise... dead.. it stopped around 11pm Saturday night as the time and date suggested.. so... 31hrs... of reserve.. less that half of the stated reserve.. . Lastly.. the internals when shaking hard.. does make a loud internal sound.. not noticeable for the most part when wearing but if you shook it.. yes you will hear it.. At this point, I know if i open the plate and find NOT find a SH3235 but a cheaper internals its going to just frustrate me to no end so i think I'm going to have to NOT open the watch. I had debated about the price differences but went ahead and purchased this one.. Guess that was a bad decision.. anyway.. Im hoping others read and decide on your own.

Great first post. Bashing a TD for nothing. Everything you write and how you write it clearly indicates that you haven't done your homework.

Just registered with RWI, no contribution, no introduction of yourself. Just came here to complain. First post: Unjustified complaint about a well-established TD - absolute no-no. Be prepared to get flamed. You damaged your reputation here right from the start.

1. You do realise that TDs don't produce watches but only deliver what you order? That's what happened here, so it's not Andiot's fault. You received your watch in record time. There is every indication that Andiot provided a very good service. Why should it be „the last order“?

2. If the watch gains a few seconds in a day, this is normal. It's a Rep, but it happens even with Gens. If it bothers you, you can have it regulated or even regulate it yourself. It's easy especially on reps and takes 5 minutes.

3. Look closer, it will have the LEC. If it’s difficult to find, then it’s a good sign it’s gen like.

4. To do a real PR test, you have to wind the watch completely - manually. Not just ‘wear it for a few days’. If you wear it, there is no guarantee that the PR will be at 100% in the evening. Typical misconception of a newbie who has not informed himself about these mechanical watches. Rep and Gen the same.

5. The rotor of the newer Rolex generations is ball bearing based, not jewel based like the old 11 references. Ball bearings are louder, which is the case with your YM. It is normal. It's the same with Rep and Gen. You can make the rotor a little quieter with a drop of oil. But it will never be completely quiet. All discussed to death several times here on RWI.

I'm truly sorry you had a bad experience. I've bought several watches from Elliot, have a few more planned, and haven't had a single issue.

Did you reach out to him and give him a chance to make things right, before blasting him in an open forum. Based on my many experiences with him, as well as several others, I find it hard to believe he didn't offer to make things right

The td has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with how the watch works. It's a replica for god's sake.

My gen Breitling, Tudor, and Formex are all COSC and gain a few sec each day. Congrats! My Clean Daytona is +3 sec a day and I am happy.

The LEC is very likely there, and I commented yesterday on a rep that had it too easy to see. Even when with an AD showing a Gen, I need a loupe and time to see. That the beauty of it. Here at home, I used the higher magnifying lens and light hitting from 12 o'clock to find the Clean Daytona LEC.

Read, absorb, and learn - maybe the rep world won't be good for you but I enjoy the nuances. I appreciate gens different now.

I beg u to open the movement, and Sh3235 is clearly on 72 hours for fully wind, I.dont like being accused by 'I guess'

This is total nonesense, show us the pictrues here, and do remember I have record of the QC with unique serial number for ur watch.

You know it's common for a mechanical watch to become magnetized during air transport and then it will speed up? All you do is demag the watch and it's good to go.

Do the world a favor, sell the 226627 before you damage it and don't buy any more watches, gen or rep. Use your phone to tell the time, and please get Apple Care so they can give you new phones regularly as it sounds like you may need the coverage by the way you handle your gear.
