Dealer says “military grade steel.” Not from a “regular factory” (such as QF, CBD, etc).

That's a nice looking rep, though cyclops is crooked. 27 links not including SELs is a generous amount, other factories can be stingy with only 25.

Sounds like military grade bullshit to me. So how is it made? Real gold?

Military grade steel does not weigh more than regular ass steel 😂
As KJ pointed out, extra links. Anyone remember how much the QF or THB links weigh?

THB and AR and others have more links but none touch 210g. Only one that is close is CBD but with extra chonky links like this one looks to have

These looked fat to me too but I don’t care to have an eye for detail on DD hence why I sold all but one.

I'm not big baller enough for Daydates. I'm 30 years too young to wear a Daydate 😂

I bought a new gen 18238 in 1991 for $5800 at a very young age. It was just like this one, with a "barked" bracelet and bezel.

I wore it almost daily for a couple years but sadly let it go for a tiny profit of $2000 when I bought our house. It's probably worth $20K nowadays :(

Holy shit thats a beaut. The bark texture is so unique for watches.

I know... watch prices went from affordable / enough to buy from a tidy bonus to unaffordable. The majority of my uncles have a few Rolexes from the days where a nice promotion or bonus could mean you could splurge on a two tone Datejust or Daydate. Now you'll have to be making 200k a year for any of the Daydate or gold watches to make sense.

Some of those Daydates and two tones used to be sold for gold weight in HK and jeweler shops 😂, movement trashed and dial thrown away too...

So what?
It doesn't matter what inside, the whole watch is not Tungsten, amazing!
My friend, I would not trust this BS marketing from any kind of factory, they say all kind of lies to sell, even tungsten alloy case with more links is only added to 190g, see THB and ARF, the most likely answer is it is also a tungsten alloy case and tungsten alloy bracelet, and tungsten ring.

It is very unlikely they achieved 210g weight with just some rings.

See CBD which has similar weight at 210g, it has tungsten alloy case, ring, bracelet...
