Anyone who can build be a 1675 GMT??

Hey y'all, was wondering if there's a go to on the form that does builds?
really want a 1675 built and am not savy enough to do it myself. looking to spend around $650, is anything good able to be done with that amount?

is there a particular reason you don't just buy one already made from a trusted dealer? Or are you looking for something out of the ordinary?

There is no specific place.

My suggestion is to browse the Collector’s Corner and see what has been sold and by who.

There are a few hobbyists modders who can make this.

Now DO YOUR RESEARCH on your prospective builder, and take your time before you send money over. Don’t let your thirst make you overeager and stupid.

650 budget is tight and probably be all rep / raffles build and parts with minimal work done on it. Look around the vintage section, pompompourin and Dr. Vintage may be able to help,

Yodog and Tripdog builds are at least 2-4x the cost with some viet / gen parts.

Karbon gave good advice - second hand M2M is the way to go unless your specifically fiending for a certain type/year/build.

Very much not picky when it comes to age and year,
just want a decent case, nice date wheel and aged bezel, similar to the pic a presented!!

I bought it from a member back in 2021 I think. I think tripog built it. Milk case, gen crown, viet dial.. I bought it for $600.

Just got word that Raffles has released a 1675 case set . Yah those crown guards are HUGE!! I dont see that as a problem but an opportunity. There is alot of material to work with to which you can easily shape into the crown guard of your choice. broad, eagle beak pcg the world...

I would recommend a message to @Natas78 for a raffles/Cartel 1675 in that price range or @drvintage for a 16750 build using his own designed case! Both are very good, nice guys, and put effort in. Dr V I would say is damned elite!

Thanks mate, but I have no 1675/16750 case yet. Vietnam or Milk are only for good 1675 and for 16750 with 3186 Vietnam only.

I’ve been contemplating it but, I’m reluctant because I’m not sure I’ll ever find a 1675 like this for he price I paid. And it’s currently faulty.. have to send it to a modder.

Sadly the JFK cases suck. Best option is a milk case that’s relatively affordable.
