Hey guys,

really did not know where to post this one? Here or in Humor?!?!:biglaugh:

My mother-in-law, knowing of my still growing hobby with rep watches, just came up with this beauty!!! Told me she got this one on a holiday trip somewhere about 25 to 30 years ago. Found it somewhere in her bedside drawer.

Absolut fantasy rolex watch with tt bracelet and....well see for yourself an have a (big) laugh!

First that came to my mind was: WOW, we´re getting such high quality reps from our dealers nowadays and still produce thread over thread ´cause of minor flaws...

Don´t know if this was state of the art back then but my first submariner 20 years ago didn´t look much better..

Enjoy!!!!:lol1::lol:... I still have tears in my eyes....

Suits you sir. I see it's the classic Japanese Rolex movement. It's a keeper I think!

And what were the prices at that time ? I believe much more than today, in percentage to the gen.
It's so ridiculously small :biglaugh:

I'd love to see more of these. I used to have a great rolex w. diamonds/glass shards all over it that I bought in the early-mid 90s. I keep hoping it will turn up somewhere.

I got a rolex rep from a guy on the street in New York back in 1991, it was quartz and rolex have never made anything like it. But at the time I was an 18 year old guy from England wearing my rolex in New York. Yes I was the man.

For about 3 days then it stopped working.

My first (and only one so far) Breitling rep. Bought on a street market in Malaysia in 1996. Worked flawlesly for 2 to 3 years.
Note the silver coating going off, and the logo badly glued in place (from the day I bought it)

That Breitling looks kinda badass like that. Looks like the steampunk edition.
