Still no sign of the watch and no update to tracking. Did anyone else who were waiting get their delivery from the tiny man on a bike yet?

I ordered a watch from Pure Time on Jan 3 and it arrived via EMS on Jan 12.

I ordered 2 watches from Trusty Time on Dec 19 and I'm still waiting for them. The EMS tracking only says:

Hi, Plugger!

As someone who was in your shoes (after being a member a short time), I know the feeling; I waited for more than three months; it ended up being lost; intervention by several of the mods and a very cooperative TD made sure I received my watches. You have to learn patience & have trust in the forum & its members; it's part and parcel of this hobby of collecting rep. watches. I can assure you the members and esp. the mods will not steer you wrong. You can count on them to help you. Chin up (or, in my case, chins up!)

Starting to get a little annoyed. My tracking record has said that same exact thing thing since Dec. 6th and I ordered mine on Dec 1st.

Alrighty... The wait continues. Im fine with waiting an extra week or 2 at this point... but I'm just wondering how long before I should actually get concerned and when it's deemed acceptable to bring this up as a real issue.

I know you've heard it all before but I feel for your pain, it's certainly not right. Based on your experience and others I know I will never be ordering in the Christmas period, so many people are waiting so long and feel helpless, and that includes dealers like Puretime.

Dunno if this will ease you but I have been in contact with Angus at Puretime about a watch too, and my watch has taken a stunning 6 days from the 18th January to ship out from Puretime and clear customs in Australia, and it is currently Sunday so it will not move any further until tomorrow, I'll probably end up with it in 8 days, 6 business days. That's not fair on people like you. I don't understand how a postal service can ship something with such speed when there are so many orders from the nightmare clusterfuck of December that are still floating around. They should be trying to handle the old orders with more priority than new orders! The best I can say is that Puretime cannot be held responsible.

bring from toronto myself i can assure you that you will get your watch eventually from Angus. Hes got a sterling rep, and you just got unlucky with the shipping / order time.

Hi, like you I placed my order around Thankgiving and was VERY frustrated by EMS delivery service. Yesterday (1-24-2011) my order arrived and the watches are gorgeous!. In the end patience was the virtue!

Arrived...

Wow... What a wait. Package came in safe n' sound. The watch looks great. I went to have it fitted and the guy didn't even realize it was a rep until he pulled the crown and saw it's a wind-up. I actually assumed the movement was auto from the writeup but other than that, it's great.

Now that I know what to expect as far as the worst case for shipping, I'll be placing another order from Puretime soon.

Even autos are "wind up"... You can wind by the crown, or with a winding case to get them started. There's no way to tell if it's just hand wind or auto from messing with the crown. What's the page you ordered it from... it should say what movement it has.

Is anyone else having trouble logging into their account? I was trying to check the status of an order and everytime I click on my account or order status is just refreshes to the home page

Same issue for me and I am trying to see if they have the watch I paid for a week ago- nothing from them since them and that is not normal. most links on their site bounce- can't contact them at all

Such a bad experience as I love Pams, i orfered my via puretime and payed 750$ for the most expensive , carbonfibre sumersible, mechanism doesnt wind, crown broke and part of the lug broke while as was staping it on my hand. Tried to conntact purtime, no response, what to do guys???? Please
