Heya lads, I saw that there's a new V5 of the 007 diver 300. Does anyone have any experience with it? If so, do you know/think the crown problem is fixed?
Someone on reddit claimed this problem was due to the fact that the replicas are based on the first genuine iteration of that watch which had the same problem. I find that hard to believe

I do not know if that is true but a lot of genuine Omega divers have that crown issue. My watchmaker used to keep a lot of spare gen crowns and tubes because of it.

As you live and learn in this hobby you will find there are a lot of unacceptable things and practices on genuine watches.
Super interesting. Maybe this is not the place, but do you have a few examples? I've been collecting genuine watches for years and just started this year dipping my toes in to high-end reps.
Here are just two of the more famous ones. I will not even go into what RSC does when you send a vintage model for servicing.
