Hope everyone is doing great today! Just joined about a week ago and have been looking around this site quite a bit. Really cool watches and a ton of really smart individuals. I have learned a ton already.

Have been into watches for a few years now. My two favorites that I have had so far have been an Omega Dynamic that I bought second hand off someone at work and a Hamilton Lloyd chrono that I purchased new about five years ago. Still have the hamilton, sold the omega after wearing it about a year.

Bought a really cheap knockoff sub about a year ago. It looks ok, but it is so cheap and light. The look of the sub is classic and by far my favorite watch so I am sure that I will be asking a ton of questions from all you guys. Glad to be here!

From what I have read so far it sounds like BK is the one to go with for the sub and DSSD. I am already leaning that way.

welcometo RWI! yes I don't think that many will argue that the bk dssd (noob with mods) is the best over all dssd rep. but do your own research, you might draw the conclution that the bk flaws are more annoying to you than those of other dssd reps :)

I'd personally go for the stock n00b DSSD honestly when you see one in the flesh the extra 400USD isnt worth it... it;s a VERY good rep.

I agree smids, I'd go for the noob stock dssd too I think, but the bk does have a bit of something extra, so if youre going for the most watch for the dime, the stock it is, if you're going for the best dssd rep sold directly from a dealer, then bk.....not too much is different though.

seriously try the cheap rolex watches first.... the cheap ones easily as reps for the price are stunning.... they beat the other brand reps that are double the price...

despite me hating rolex the fakes are very good.

I have decided that my first rep is going to be a sub or a DSSD from looking around the site for a few weeks.

Is the DSSD to large for daily use? I know that everyone will have their own opinion, which is fine. Just trying to get a general idea.

NO I wear a graham for daily, the DSSD is a toy in comparison.

DSSD is a great size for a daily watch... it's thicker than normal, but the diameter is pretty normal. I'll throw a 45mm PO in as a suggestion. I am starting to wear mine almost every day.

BK DSSD - I DON'T have mine yet; just a coupla' more weeks. I do think, as per Thinkbach's comparison, that buying a watch that has most all the mods done (except maybe bezel insert) makes sense. If you go ETA (which is a whole nother' subject), sapphire, etc; $420 is a fair price. BAM, done. The wait kinda' sucks though.
