I would have said Citizen Eco Drive. That way you could get you a nice GEN and about 6K in your pocket for anything else you may want to do.

I was searching for "best watches for $6500" and thought it was crazy that RWI appeared. ;)

I am in the same boat of buy a few used gens or 1 nice used watch, possibly go to $7500 for a Daytona... I am just scared to death about getting scammed on a watch this expensive... It would sting for a few months.

I think I'd get a really good condition vintage MG-B. That could be fun.
Then I'd buy a gen Orient Diver with the spare change.

If investment value isn't a concern, I'd get:

1.) Longines Legend Diver; and
2.) A Glashutte Senator 60s

May even be able to squeeze in a Sinn 856 if cards played right.

LOL had to look that up, thought it was a watch. Would do if I didn't already have a convertible.

Meanwhile, there are ZERO Submariners on eBay with a jubilee. What is it, sacrilege? I should have kept the damn PBDAD lol

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal Limited Edition *takes a breath*, no question.

$6500 would be a tough ask but I saw a gen (Obviously as there are no reps of this model and if there were they would be way off) on ebay for this price from a reputable seller. I'm lucky I don't have that kind of money unless I sacrifice my BMW fund or I'd have bought it.

If I couldn't get that, probably just a regular Planet Ocean Automatic. I would prefer a Milgauss Black but I asked the AD in Adelaide and he quoted me $8500. Then again, if I'd be willing to go to the bay for the Liquidmetal I guess I could go to the bay for a Milgauss but I'd rather hit up a dealer if possible.

IF I ever get the chance to do that, it'd be a Rolex YM in platinum. To me, that is a watch that smacks of style and elegance.

I found a nice serviced transitional ss sub on NATO for $3k.

We now have 4k to blow on either 1 PVD Explorer II or try to get an IWC and a cheaper watch. Anyone seen a Sinn under a grand? B & R military is also used around a grand. Or maybe a Roman black or white dj and one of the others mentioned...

However I forgot about the emergency. I would kill just to have the BOX for one of those.
