Maratac Strap for 3717...correct size?

Does anybody have pics of a 20mm Maratac strap attached? I'm not sure that I like look of the 22mm that sticks out past the lugs but wonder if the 20mm would look too small. Thanks!

If I remember correctly the 3717 lug size is 21mm so if you put a 20mm strap on it that leaves 0.5mm of space on each side. Take a ruler and note how big 0.5mm and decide for yourself if there will be a noticeable distance between the strap and lugs

Here he says that the Nato is 22mm, so i guess that a 22mm Maratac too will be the right choice! Keep this updated man, I'm really curious

As a strap maker my opinion is 20mm will show obvious misfit
Don't do it. If you don't want to squeeze the 22mm into the lugs you can always save off a bit on each side and apply some sharpie of the same colour to the ends. Will look so much better when they fit just right

Well I got the 22mm Maratac and it's too wide...fail.

Of course 22mm is too wide, that's why you have to trim the ends to fit, as mentioned earlier. Good luck!

I used a 22mm NATO on my DSSD which is 21mm between the lugs.
It fit fine.

Am I missing something here?
