Hi!
It's has been a long time since I want to share my collection. There we are :

IMG_2100.jpg

1 - Omega Speedmaster Date 1994 : The picture is with a NATO but the aligator which will be part of my futur bracelet has been catched! My first gen watch. I like it because it's classic, discrete and easy to wear. I like specially the silver subdials.

2 - Chanel J12 Superleggera : This watch is really nice to wear because it's a very light watch (ceramic & rubber bracelet). I spend time to find this watch in replica but in my opinion, all replica I have seen are really bad (always a huge mistake on one subdials). So this is a gen... . If one watch dealer can find me a nice Rep J12...maybe I will sell this one? And I am lookig for a ceramic&aluminium strap for this watch, I think this can be nice.

3 - Tudor 79280 Chrono : I fall in live with the Rolex Daytona. This Tudor 79280 Chrono has a very close Daytona parts. I think this Tudor will cost more and more each year. Very classy watch with a suit. Many people tell my "Oh...what's your watch?Oh...a Tudor?!". Much more discrere than a ROLEX (everybody know Rolex as $$$$$$$$$!). The silver-grey dial is really awsome, the black subdials with white hands are...perfect! I bought a Rep Rolex strap for this watch because I didn't like the Tudor one.

4 - Omega Planet Ocean 42 : Firstly, my choice was to get a Orange Bezel PO. But Hont make me a very good offer on this black subdial&orange number 42 PO. I bought a Strap to RG because I prefer the watch with leather&orange bracelet. Asia21j inside working good (the DW need sometime help to change!)

5 - B&R 03 : I bought this watch 1 year ago. This is the "V1" version so the box tikness a little bit too thin compared to a gen and the strap is to taut. Otherwise, the dial, hands are great for me. I would like to get the same in black but the V2 version box is to BIG compare to a gen... . Maybe the V3 version will be on the good size?! Asia 21j perfecly working inside.

6 - Louis Vuitton LV277 : This is my first replica! Bought from Hont with a 7750. I bought a aligator strap because the leather one was really (really!) cheap. Very nice replica, good looking but incorrect dial&subdial spacing. Lucky for me, I never saw one guy wearing a Gen LV277 (cost around 7000-8000€ and stoped several years ago). Nice to wear, a BIG watch! Not good to wear in front of your Boss when you are asking a pay rise!

7- Rolex Submariner 16610 : MY FIRST ROLEX!!! Just received from BK. It's a TWB with ETA inside. This watch has been moded by BK to take "my requirements" : new bezel and new pearl. This is my first Sub so I can't compare to a Noob. But the overall feeling is REALLY amazing (quality, weight, ...). I really like this 16610 version without ROLEXROLEXROLEX engraving. For me, one of the classic that every Watch lover has to get!

Sorry for the picture, I am not a great photograph!I will repost picture when I will get a new camera.

So, with one is your favorite one? What's missing in my collection? I know...maybe a PANERAI but I am not a big fan (as of today!!!) of this watch!

I have views to a Chanel J12 black Ceramic but I think I will be a little bit disapointed compared to my Gen J12 Superleggera.
Maybe take a Cartier Pasha Seatimer with black dial&black strap. Like it.
Of maybe extend my Rolex collection with a Rolex GMT Master 2 with a Pespi bezel?

Very nice post, and very nice watches.

Wear them in good health.

So, your tudor is a rep or a gen?

Congrats,

Max

Thanks.
The Tudor is a Gen because I couldn't find out this model in replica.
It's not a "really" expensive watch (around 1500-2000€ with box&papers).

IMO a great deal because this watch has been stoped by Tudor/Rolex many years ago and will cost much more in few years.

Very nice!!! I agree that the Tudors are becoming increasingly more collectible. I always find it funny how often those who know enough to know it's a Rolex brand treat it like some kind of cheap and ugly step child of Rolex. Nothing could be further from the truth of course. Tudor makes some stunning watches that stand on their own, and yours is a perfectly good example of that. Congrats!

You're exactly right Rooster.
I think Tudor has not a such great reputation because most of Tudor's models were too close to a Rolex for many people and were hide under the Rolex Identity, a kind of Rep Rolex! Moreover, it's has been a lot of time since they didn't create a new models and do publicity.
But they has just created a great re-edition of the Heritage chrono. I saw a lot of publicity on newpapers and Tudor seems to spend money to give a real identity of the brand and leave the "Rolex of the poor" idea.

About Rolex ONLY lovers, of course, I know that my Tudor don't have a Rolex movement, and Rolex movement have really this "thing"! But it's a really good comprimise if you compare to a Daytona Paul Newman at 35k€!

Quick picture check :
1/Have a look at mine watch :

2/Is this Gen Daytona does have a striking resemblance ?

Love the gen Tudor. Also very much dig the rep LV277. Any chance you could take some closer up shots of the LV277? Would love to see it closer up. Once again, nice collection.

Absolutely!! :) That was the most talked about watch at Basel 2010. A real stunner. I also liked the fact that they dropped the cyclop, to distance themselves from Rolex. It's a flawless design. I immediately had to get on the waiting list and buy one. I've never done that before. It took forever, and it only arrived a few weeks ago. But it's stunning. I should post some pics when I get the time. We need to see more Tudors around here! :)

About the Tudor Heritage, do you know how good is the Rep? Let us know when you upload some pic because this watch is really amazing. All "old" Tudor Montecarlo are so expensive!

Sure, will post some pics soon. I don't think there's a rep of the heritage. Just the monte is available and the two are often confused. But of course, the case is smaller on the monte, so that's not to everyone's liking... Who knows, maybe one day we'll see a rep of the heritage!

Thanks for the link Yamaha. How much wear and tear has that watch received? Trying to figure out if going with a 7750 for a daily wear iwc spitfire is practical or if I should just go with the quartz for reliability. Beautiful watches.

I think I wear the LV277 watch maybe 40-50 days. It's difficult to say but always keep great time.
No problem in my 7750! I read some problems but not on mine or maybe later?
