Did this pic of my first purchase from WatchEden get through? (A Rolex Submariner, TT, with gray dial. I have absolutely NO IDEA what I'm doing. All the instructions for posting pics on the forum have made NO SENSE to me.

Is this your first ever rep purchase? If not what made you change from your "regular dealer?" if indeed you had a regular. Just asking out of curiosity.
I just can't go past my guy wouldn't look at anyone else unless it was a really good deal.
cheers

Hi, Tangle!

I owe you Big Time for assisting me with postings. I've had a lot of trouble trying to learn how & have spent many hours in front of the computer trying to follow Jelly Joe's advice. (I"m not very computer literate; in fact, I've told Forum members that I'm a computer Neanderthal.) THANKS for pointing out what was missing, Tangle. I'll try again tomorrow afternoon and try your suggestion.

ps: You're not the first to help me. I owe a debt of gratitude to JC7 for his invaluable help with an earlier attempt back in Sept. I'm trying... .

Hey, 747!

No problem with asking... . No, this is not my first rep purchase, but it WAS my first purchase from WatchEden, and it was a very good one at that. Emily really went out of her way to service my purchase. I purchased this Submariner and an Omega Seamaster Chrono (celebrating the first moon landing in July, 1969). Both watches were very nice, and I wanted to share with the membership; some had had some doubts/problems with them. My usual Trusted Dealers are Robert @ T4D, Jee @ Silix-Prime, Lay, and a few others -- including the membership themselves. As some membes have learned, my first two rep purchases were from scammers; my searches led me here, where I was welcomed with open arms & helped a lot by the memberhip -- to whom I am very grateful. Hope these answer your questions & sorry for the long dissertation (former history professor; what can I say??)

Hey, Brahmabull!

Thanks for the compliement. I hope to post more pics of the Submariner + the Omega once I get the hang of this stuff!

Hey, Plusvini!

Good move; I've had good experiences with Emily, as other members have had. Be sure to post some pics when you receive your watch.

Waiting for it to arrive.

What did you think of the quality of your watch?

Hey, Quark!

I was satisfied with the quality of both watches (the Rollie Submariner and an Omega Speedmaster Chrono). To me, they appeared to be well made, solid, with nice "heft" on the wrist, etc. So much so, I ordered another from Emily @ WE: A Rollie Milgauss with black dial. Very encouraging!! Good luck with yours. When you get it, please post some pics so we all can see & share!
