yes and obviously he doesn't. so don't pay him until he sends you pics...

my other desire would be for hont to give me my money back because i don't want to have to accept an alternate watch because he was less than honest. i doubt that will happen though...
Easy now... As I suggested, this could be the case here, that the dealer acted dishonest.
But as I also wrote, I´m not pointing the finger at someone or accusing anybody.
Before we jump to conclusions, I think that Hont himself should be given a chance to explain himself.
I agree that it doesn´t look very good at the moment, but I think the best in this case would be if a moderator or admin contacted Hont and tried to find out exactly what´s going on here.![]()
Please read my post again.I think you should take a breath befoer saying that a dealer like hont might be dishonnest. The guy revolutuionned the rep business way before you or me got here, providing the best service around untill MRep and Lay recently showed up. And even though he's still one of the best dealers out there.
Dealers like hont, MRep, Lay, ... have no or very few stock. Several times a week, they go see the wholesalers and get the watches ordered by customers. So yes, once in a while a watch is out of stock at the wholesaler, and they are not aware of it before they actually gets there to pick up the watch.
You've only been here for a month and it's not the first time I see you jump at someone. You might want to cool down a bit...
Please read my post again.
I clearly made my statement that I do not judge anyone. And that I´m not pointing the finger at somebody and saying that they are dishonest.
Instead I was trying to calm the situation down, in favor for Hont since I think that you should not accuse anyone until all the facts are on the table.
The only thing that I said was that it doesn´t look good at the moment, and if that´s the case that Hont gives promises to several buyers and then can´t stand up and deliver I think that would be unacceptable.
I personally asked Hont if he had this watch in stock and he said that he had it. Now, that should mean that he has the watch in his hands.
I asked him if he could hold the watch for me until friday, and he said yes.
How could he hold something for me, and guarantee that I get it if he doesn´t have it in his possession?
This is the part when I asked people to take it easy and cool down a little bit rather than jump to conclusions.
Because as it is today we don´t know anything.
Hont may very well honor his agreement.
So, if you read my last post you should see that I´d rather takes Hont´s side a little bit than running into conclusions.![]()
