Hi,

My first rep purchase was the GMT2c with the ETA clone movement. I paid $198 for it from one of the dealers on here, soon afterwards I saw another dealer selling it for $158. Same model, same movement. And now, there is a promotion and I can get one for as low as $130!

Is there a difference? Or is it just a good value offer?

Thank you!

I've seen this kind of discrepancy before.. Even up to $100 difference on a $300 rep. I find some dealers charge extra then give free shipping, or charge less but take a lot longer to get the watch to you. Just do your research and make sure the two watches are EXACTLY the same, and that the dealer will do good QC, before you buy the cheaper watch.

gmtIIc for 130$? Where?

What I have learned is that most of the dealers get the watches from the same source. Many of our trusted dealers add value such as QC and a better selection of the higher grade reps for us.

Then you have the exchange rate, other influences on the market ... this is a lot like the stock exchange, prices going up and down.

See it like this: The original costs how much in comparison? See? :)

Timesshops are running a Noobfactory promotion. It is very cheap!

I will email the dealer who originally supplied me the watch to see his best price and then I will compare it to the other two.

I think the difference in price might be due to the QC...

the really cheap watches do not meet the quality standarts of the more expansive watches. Some dealers do a quality check, some dealers do not even see the watch, they do drop shipment. You need to find out what you prefer. It is like real live, you can buy a burger tomorrow for 2 bugs, and tomorrow the same one from onther store is 1.80.

Yes that's the dealer offering some very cheap watches! I can't seem to find much information about whether it's a dropship or not. I did send them an email but I didn't get a reply...
