i don't think this rep ym is at the level of say the v3 GMT II, you can really see the differences in the quality of the polished and brushed bracelet parts between rep and gen. interesting that the dial is very good but the case and bracelet really show the differences.

I was thinking the same, the bracelet is like the GMT model so the quality will be the same and that isn't as good as it could be! Nice watch, but not one for me.

i don't believe this to be the case, there are quite a few different gmt versions floating around out there and the quality of things like case and bracelet steel fit and finish can differ widely. the current v3 gmt with the better grade steel has a very finely finished bracelet and clasp.
that horribly off crown position just blows it for me.

As for people noticing with the naked eye from a distance my experience is that people would hardly notice you let alone a small part of your watch so I think unless you are going to draw their attention to it your worries are unfounded.
Perhaps you would like to share some of your reps in a side by side review with the Gen and let us all see what the perfect rep looks like

and yeah, $725 is very steep of a price, guess that's what you have
to pay when you're really bothered by certain details. that new one
you're offering though has some fantastic appeal to it, gotta give it to
you.

I too would like to know what version and pricepoint this rep is, because the side-by-side shows how really far off the quality is from the gen. I know - it's a rep at a fraction of the price. But still I'd like to know if this is a $120 21J rep, or a $375 (supposedly) gen ETA, or what.
