SL T48 from T and now off for a few mods by Vac.

I have no idea what im doing but based on what I have seen and a few help from other members (Holigan, Coldi, and Headtouch) I am now ready to take this standard PAM005 from Trevor to the next step.

I started with a custom A2 strap from Tootall (who can be found here on RWI). A buckle w/logo from Alviando and the hot glue mod fixed the lever on the CG and CG pin was raised.

Just received an SL T48 (spring loaded) from T (who can be found on RWG).
Now don’t kill me, but I can’t tell what the hype is all about other than more teeth on this one. I just hope for the cost, this T48 sits closer to the watch.

Now the watch is off to Vac (who is located in the CONUS) for a few more mods.
Vac will relum, install a H3 tall Cannon Pin and the new SL T48. I will post more pictures when the watch comes back from Vac.

I've decided to have my Trevor PAM 005 to have some mods too, sent it to Goin for relume, install Toro CG, and matte the dial. It'll be probably few more weeks before the watch returns back to me.

Imo you won't be disapointed captain, but for the crown sitting closer to the case i think it has nothing to do with the crown itself.

Since we have the same 005 you have to sand down a little bit the case tube, so i guess Vac will do this.

Replace the CG to make it complete man .
Since Vac will take care of it , and got a good crown already , how can you stay away from a good CG ?
Get one at the same time .

I agree with goin. A toro bravo for the money is he best option

To get the crown closer to the case you can sand the crown tube down some or make sure there is one o-ring and not two in he crown. One as long as its greased is all you need

Damn... Here goes some more money for a Toro CG... Well at least I can install that part.

I wonder if I need to ask Vac about this T48 sitting closer or if its just common and he does it...

Yep mod the cg lever so that it rounds when you shave it to fit the t48...that way it gives it that gen "snap"

Just received my Pam005 back from Vac yesterday and want to post some pics to help others who are thinking about having a few mods done. Overall I’m very happy with the results. Sorry for the pic quality.

New SL T48 installed on the RT. (also notice the Vaclumed)

Notice the gap between the watch on the standard CG

The Spring Loaded T48 sits nice and now the CG lever snaps in place. FYI Vac had to do a little work with the SL T48 to make it work. Im not sure why or what he had to do.

Vaclumed on the Left. Its a bad shot but you can see the difference in color. The gen is lighted in color than the standard rep.
