What's the story behind your current avatar?

I mean, if there IS one.

I haven't changed mine in a long time, and probably won't for a while because as lume shots go it's kind of unique.

I was trying to get a good lume shot of my Big Egi in very low light and I didn't realize that a 15-second exposure would catch the blue light coming from the power button on my computer. I really liked the way the blue LED illuminated the shot, even though it was totally accidental. For me it seems the best shots are ones in which the end result is NOT what I had planned. :lol:

Mine's a fancy pants watch that I will never in my wildest dreams be able to afford. I change it from time to time to remind myself that there are many such watches and I should not get my mind set on one. Because they cost as much as a car. A very very nice car in some cases. And a watch won't transport me anywhere.

I don´t think I´ve ever used another avatar here in RWI since I joined in 2006...
..This is my TT 16613 Submariner "Bluesy", and was my first 40mm watch.

BIG change for me, as I´ve never worn any watch bigger than the datejust-sized 36mm, and then, out of sudden, I decided to get as my first "big sport watch" a Submariner, and started with a TT.

Still loving that shot and watch, but being considering a change nowadays, I´ve made some nice photos from 2006 to recent days

My avatar is just a fancy 3d signature I made in my spare time. Not much to tell about it apart from the fact that I was obstinately picking my nose when I did it.

Well, let's see...

I used to keep a pic of John Harrison's #4 as my avatar... then over at RWG, someone suggested something about getting a look at everyone, while the post your pic thread was going on over here fairly strongly (or was that RG?). So, while I was sick with pneumonia, and busily cut and pasting Elmo's head onto a scene pic from "The whole 9 yards" to annoy Dave123 with (Dave had a pic of himself up that looked quite a bit like Matthew Perry, and this was when the evil Seasame Street Avs where still everywhere), I snapped a quick pic of me in the mirror to provide equal opportunity for mirth and merriment... and changed my Av on all the sites...

So, there you have it... just delerious ol' me with a headache, dehydration and lack of sleep.

Ive had a few different ones since 06. A couple different Ricci's, one or two Brittney Spears, and an Austin Powers. But my current is a scan of a pic Ms. Ricci signed for me, plus I had it for awhile unsigned, so imma keep it. That way ya'll recognize me.
