Well, I took the plunge. I ordered three watches for starters; one from Hont, and a few from Jee.

I'm new at the whole shipping thing, so hopefully everything will make it here ok. I'm in Texas.
I ordered a 50th ann. GMT and an older model SD from Jee, and a high end 50th ann. sub from Hont. I'll post pics after they arrive. Now comes the hard part - waiting!

I was skeptical @ first but the reviews and info I've read about them put my fears to ease. Yeah, I'm excited to see how they look.

I'm right there with you. My first order is with Hont, and it's in San Fran customs now, awaiting the mail service to bring it to me. I'm in East Texas. Stay tuned...

Tracking indicates that mine from Hont cleared U.S. Customs in San Francisco this morning. Hopefully it's just regular old USPS delivery from this point on.

Cheers, John

items from Jee arrived - pics -->

Everything is perfect and exactly as described. I can see how this seller is held in such high reguard. I highly recommend this seller. The GMT is a 25j, and a very smooth one at that - very solid too. The SD is the one on special, and appears to be a 21j. It has a good wieght, and the sweep is not bad at all - very much the same as my invicta auto with the 21j myota, which is quite reliable. There's a difference between the the two in smoothness, but that's to be expected. The quality on the GMT is very good. I am pleasantly suprised with the cheaper SD. I was not sure what to expect, but it's quite nice. All in all, I couldn't be happier. The stuff looks good, and the service is absolutely amazing. Kudos all the way around!

My order from Hont should be in shortly..... I'll post it up when it gets here.

Congrats on the delivery! Those do look nice at a glance. Sounds like you are pleased.

I'm hoping for delivery on my Hont order tomorrow -- tracking says the package is in town, so the postman should bring it to the office by lunchtime.

Cheers, John

Well the 50th ann. sub I ordered from Hont came in! All I can say is wow! Unfortunately my damn camera won't work for some reason. The watch looks just like this one:

Very nice smooth sweep, and solid construction. It was well packed and arrived w/o a hitch. Thanks Hont! I can see why this seller is so well recommended. I'll be back!

Not sure I follow you. I have read the posts referring to these, so it was not done blindly. So the bezel font and types are not perfect....big deal. You want perfection, get the gen, right? I liked what I saw in the pics, the seller is reputable, and they look nice. Sure, there are more expensive ones out there, but I'm happy, and the service was flawless. These watches are beautiful.

Ahh I got you.. the rehaut is deep.. too witty for me on that one. I'm not so sure how the GMT is suppose to look but I'm 99% the DSSD is suppose to be perfect for "baking a cake"... get it? ...like you can bake a cake it's so deep maybe make a "deep dish" pizza. PM me if you want me to explain. ...i'm hungry now.

They look pretty IMO, a quality DSSD is on my list too.
