Interesting....
"Looking for a watch and just happen to have a bagload of money to spend? Then look no further than the Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Limited Edition. It’s based on the concept behind the V4 watch, and will hit rich-wrists worldwide just in time for the Swiss watchmaker’s 150th anniversary.
It’s got more cogs and gears than tonka playset, but this twice-patented technological beast has a new belt-driven transmission (is it powered by car engine?) that replaces the traditional pinion and wheel mechanical movement). It packs loads of ace time-telling kit though, with a linear mass (replacing the normal oscillating mass), a beveled and arched sapphire crystal face, platinum casing and an alligator strap with a titanium insert.
The range is limited to just 150 watches (it’s Tag’s 150th birthday, get it?) and each Monaco V4 is hand-assembled by venerable watch master, Denis Badin. There’s no price info just yet, but it’s not going to come cheap."
