Blue Ceramic Sub....

Took some quick pics of my father's blue ceramic sub.... Man this watch is good looking!!!

Look at how this thing is glowing after being outside for not even 2 minutes!!!

Then went downstairs for the "lume" shot. Glows pretty good for awhile too! Not bad for a rep!!! IMO

Does your bezel spin freely? Mine spins freely..want to know if it can be tightened....others on the board said yes but local jewler said no.

I love my black and my blue one. They are great and very comfortable out of the box. I actually wore the blue one today. I wish I could get a correct bezel with correct pearl for them. Thats all they need well that and a Clarks crystal.

The bezel has to be unidirectional like in all divers watches. If it spins freely there is a defect.

Like Doc said, your might have a defect. This one has nice clicks. My father absolutely loves this watch, gets more wrist time then his Gen Datejust.
Runs a little fast so I'm going to send it to Katt for regulation.

just paint it on mate then use thinner-to clean it after5 mins or so ... that's how I did it :sam:

thats what i did at first but the paint got in between the bezel and crystal, looks horrible! I was gonna get this platinum/white krylon plastic/ceramic enamel spray and spray it down so it looks perfect and uniform... that bezel is on there so tight

Yes, the GEN has a raised pearl just like this.
..The new Ceramic inserts all come with raised pearls, being it the Ceramic Submariners, Gold or Stainless Steel, and the DEEPSEA.
(the GMT-IIc doesn´t have a pearl)

The shape of the pearl surroundings are actually very accurate, but the lume part should have a little sapphire lens over it.

I did review mine some time ago, Hont and Marvellous Replica can get the same model for you, and it´s really worth it.

Consider getting the Asia 2836-2 CloneETA ´cause it´s the best option, no doubt about it. It really nails the "bang for the bucks" aspect.

OK- these two reviews have convinced me- I just placed the order for this watch and a box set through marvellous replicas- just waiting for him to email me back and send the invoide to my paypal account. I have not been able to source the correct papers and an anchor to go with the box set (I had to get the Datejust box set)- any tips on who can source the proper papers/tags/anchor?

None of the factories do that.
...Datejust paperwork is the only one that is repped.

Also, Rolex doesn´t supply the anchor with Submariners anymore, since some years ago, already (2004 or so).
