Does anybody know if Dandong makes the 7750? If they don’t, then we can say for sure it’s the 4130 since the promo specifically says it’s a Dandong movement. And at least for Chronos, that would strongly imply the 4130 since that’s the chrono movement that Dandong would be most known for.

Unfortunately they make both 4130 and 7750.
We just need to wait until an official release.

If it's 12.5 mm and it's using a Dandong movement, it's likely the 4130, no? A fully functional 7750 would make it thicker, unless its slimmed down again, which would mean the subdials don't work again, which would mean they've just changed from 904 to 316, which seems weird to do for a new version...

Looks like the end links and luggs are still off on the 116509. Not even one factory has gotten it right.. WG/RG/platina cases/end links are different to YG/Steel *facepalm*

It's really not that surprising. Doubling the tooling up costs, in order to manufacture a case and parts that are just very slightly different, doesn't make economic sense. They'll still sell every WG?RG/platinum variant they make to less fussy punters.

Its the only thing they should get right imo.
the case makes a pretty big part of the Watch right?
anyway its an instant tell even if they make Every other part of the Watch perfect. And its not just a slight difference, they are totally off.

Nearer than you think
The pictures are not really pictures, they look like computer renderings, real pics will be released later most likely.

Looks like ARF needed to catch CF's wave in order not to be left behind so they released this teaser. The watches are most likely being assembled / built right now.

Idk, it feels like a deja vu, didn't something like this already happened when VRF released their 116710 GMT with clone VR3185 and ARF had to rush their production and released the 116710 with the SA3186?

The movement turned out to be trash and many of them broke or arrived DOA.

Lol we will see

I assume it's just a Photoshop copy/paste mistake. After all, it's ARF who produces the bracelets for CF Daytonas where the SELs aren't too long on steel models.

I got reply from Chinese local dealer who has strong relationship to ARF.

They don’t use 4130.

V3 comes with 7750, after 15th Feb, pricing around 2500RMB in China.

I guess they will be competing with EWF, not CF...
Don't really see a need for another 7750 daytona imo...

From so much excitement to so much disappointmentment... fingers crossed there is a mixup dying for a blue face daytona. Really don't want to buy two to make one!

I guess the question would be how reliable is the modified 7750 that will be in this ARF. The Chronograph may be one of those functions when I use it sparingly to avoid mishaps (which is what I read should be done for the 4130 movement anyways). If something goes wrong, I wonder which is easier to repair: a modified 7750 or a replica 4130.

If the watch looks the same on the wrist, I may be tempted to save the ~$300 with this compared to the Clean factory and save it to service the watch down the road.
