@ Guru, Mighty fine rep/gen/franken indeed. :)
@ Taka, I will let Avenger007 know this. Thanks. I think he was specifically looking for the older style. Since the gen dials are available he can do a swap. :) Good advice. :)

Not a problem. Infact since he is doing the swap, the new style is not a problem.

Hey taka:

Does this look familiar? A stunning watch in person.

Ah nice Cousteau Divers 2007 ;) Am glad you like the watch.

Here's the fresh shot of the day. Such watch tends to get overlooked. You will be surprised with the built quality of this watch, infact I have nominated it as replica of the year a couple of years back (it lost though to a Breitling).

The deepsea is my favorite, here is just the dial but painted matte by me.

Today's shot reminds us the real meaning of value. Intrinsic included or not, I still wonder how this can be bought for under 20 bucks.

What does it have?
Well serviced AS Schild movement, manual wind. Gold plated case (this one is marked as 10k), stainless steel caseback and an enamel dial. Plus all the patinas that we can't buy.

Character... That is what this watch is not lacking. As a civil engineer, my brother has "abused" this watch. Scratches on the bezel, AR coating, bracelet and the case. It doesn't stop this watch (still ticking after a few years of usage). Granted that it needs servicing soon. For the price that I paid (thank goodness that this watch IS still available), this is worth every penny spent. Eddie Lee went bust but he left us with a pretty good legacy.

One and only mod, AR:

One AM in the morning and this is what I wear for the past two days.

A solid watch for hectic days:

Talking about watch for all occasions, I think the Top Gun can fit the job pretty well.
