I personally have heard nothing but bad news from Invicta but it looks like that differs for some. Perhaps a used Invicta?

stick with the invictas with swiss movements, the entire watch is of better quality. i have had several and never had any problems.

One thing about Invicta's that I have'nt seen anyone mention in this post is their after sales service. Now I know they have hit or miss QC from the factory and your likely to get a dud, but I have heard really really good things about their after service and warranty.

Anybody want to add to that thought? :)

4) Fakey SMP
5) Invicta

i have never had one with a problem so i have zero first hand knowledge of their service. i have read complaints about them but i hear the same complaints about rolex service so i take it with a grain of salt.

I've been lucky too and not needed it - but I have read on other boards that their after sales service is not very good right now.

Thanks JMd and HKca. I don't own these Invictas, just because I like the quality of reps. I would consider a Seiko though with sapphire.

I own some Invicta's and they are good if you can get them cheap which is the case now a days. But their QC sux, and the warranty sux. If you gotta a problem with the watch it takes forever to get through to their warranty dept, and after you send your watch in to get serviced, you probably won't get it back for a few months. But if you get one that works they are pretty durable.

If I owned an Invicta, I wouldn't worry about the damn warranty I'd just take it to my local watchsmith (as important as a local tailor in my opinion) and have him sort out the issues. It will be close to home, and you can get it done knowing that he'll take care of you. That peace of mind is better than ANY warranty in my opinion...
