OK. I am not what has happened. It has just stopped working. I have only had it about a month. It is a Tag Carerra Calibre 16. Asian 7750 28000bph.

It's quite annoying as it was cheap. I am awaiting a response from the dealer as it is still covered based on their warranty.

It started when I tried to run the chrono on it. The chrono wasnt working, but the seconds at 9 were running as normal. Then the whole thing just stopped. Also the winding mechanism that I can see through the back of the watch seems to be spinning more freely than it did before.

Any ideas would be appreciated

I disagree that cheap has much to do with it. These things should work for longer than a month when treated right. Let us know what the dealer says.

LOL! Reason more to get it fixed then. :) But seriously, let us know what the dealer says... The alternative is to save some time, spend some more money, and send it to a good watchsmith to have it fixed and fully serviced. That's a must if you plan to keep it for a long time IMO.

I will wait to see what the dealer says. I have a feeling they will be happy to help, but we shall see. Anybody know of a decent watchsmith in London who is happy to work on a rep?

If you're in London, use Domi in Germany. His RWI user name is dmuit. He'll fix and service your watch in no time.

The dealer in question has been through a series of questions and is satisfied that I can send it back to them for repair. I am going to send it back over the next few days. As soon as it's fixed I will be sure to add my review for this watch in their delaer section outlining how the repair process went.
