No, it tells you via bluetooth when you are receiving call/text.

I had this watch when I worked for Sony Ericsson. I actually had all 3 (music edition with rubber strap, executive edition with SS band and this classic edition with leather).
My favourite is this classic edition.
They are great watches but I had to give them all back when I left

The display shows name or number of person calling, track name, message indicator. You can start, stop, skip tracks fwd/backward and adjust the music volume on your phone. The watch also vibrates when you are getting an incoming call or message.

The only downsides are the watch it a little bit heavy and you have to charge it every couple of days or so.

Many thanks for your post. I'm thinking about getting one, but have heard they are huge! Are you able to give me an idea about size? I'm wearing a IWC Ingy if it helps (which is 200 grams!)
