I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this dealer. This watch looks pretty good to me, but I am not an explorer guy. Aside from being Asian, the watch looks pretty spot on.....

Any noticeable things you can see that are way off? I know it will not be perfect, just don't wanna get a watch and then discover it has a really bad flaw.

Whatcha think? The date mag looks great, which from what I have seen, is very hard to find in this price range. I guess another question would be what you think about this dealer, too. I found him on another forum. As this forum is my home, I figured I would ask here, too. :)

The dealer is fine, it's a trusted dealer at RWG 1.1, very reliable. Go for it. :)

Edit: We posted at the same time Guru, sorry, don't want you to think I stepped up to the plate. :p

I bought a couple of Lawrence's cheapies back in the day:

They had their faults, as most cheapies do, but they were less than $90 back then.

Why not contact Hont (one of our trusted dealers) and ask him for a nice one?

So Taka, let us in on the secret, where do we get an expII for less than 90 bucks?

Lawrence is one of the longest established dealers out there BTW, been around for ever. Good comms, quick shipping and good service. If you go here: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum/index.php?showforum=77 you will find a more up to date listing than on the website. At least you will when he has time to finish it.

Would also love to know where to get the Polar Explorer II for less than 90 bucks. Timeshops has it for $228 and was actually considering it but now this thread is starting to change my mind about paying to much if Lawrence has it for 90. Let us know Taka.

Guys, guys, the $90 Explorer has an Asian 21J and the one Timeshops is selling for $228 a Swiss ETA or Clone ETA. Crystal is probably mineral on the cheaper one.

I've traded emails with Lawrence before and he gets back to you quick, plus he'll tell you his real opinion on the watch your looking at if you ask him. He charges too much for EMS shipping though.

Guys - this may be a dumb question. Though, check out the darkness of the outside of the hour markers. i though, it was difficult to get a polar explorer II with black edged hour markers. even the expensive ones seem to have been coming with gun metal? An obvious flaw???

Yeah, I spoke to Mark at Timeshop yesterday. He said his Explorer II Polar is from NoobFactory and its Swiss Eta movement. Thats pretty good for 228, no?
