My First Franken - Tudor Prince Date Chronograph

I built this up with a gen dial, A7750 movement, rep Daytona case and hand set, and rep Tudor signed Brushed Oyster band. I have since added a gen crown and tube. This was the first watch I ever built from "scratch".

This is after installing the gen crown and tube set:

Most everything else I have is boring budget bargain basement stuff...

I can't for the life of me figure out why nobody has repped one of these. All the parts are there except for the dial and that should be pretty simple for a rep factory. The Daytona case isn't 100% correct but it's "close enough for government work", as the saying goes...

When these first came out I had the gen... I sold the damn thing for $1100 about a year later. Sure wish I had that one back. That is a pretty darn nice copy you built there buddy!

It's gone - I performed a "stickerectomy" when I swapped the crowns!

It's one of my all-time favorites. All the look and functionality of a Daytona without the hassles of a "seconds at 6" timebomb or totally incorrect dial like the seconds at 9.

M, it should fit fine. Sometimes the end-links need to be massaged a bit but usually nothing drastic...
