.... a few weeks ago I started searching the net for replicas... I have met very cheap ones which are not worth the hassle.... then I bumped (by pure coincidence) into this wonderful community.

I am amazed at the passion some people put into replica collecting.... and when it comes to replicas .... detail is all that matters.... (its better to have a casio on your wrist than a cheap replica... cos you'd look faker than fake)

I was a bit worried at first to where should I post and how.... so here I am....

I am interested in buying a Ballon Bleu de Cartier..... have found a very interesting dealer over here who claims to be giving away the boxset and certificate with it. (Plus a free gift I'm sure some people would know of who I am talking about.

Anyways... any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

So after more than 3 hours of searching around here about the soon-to-be-mine Ballon Bleu….. I can say that this site and the demon of addiction over watch collecting are plotting to engulf my being completely

@ acharria : would you recommand anyone in particular from the dealers regarding the Blue Ball ? (is it only me or do you find the english translation funny… lol)

@ avenger007 : I did follow your advice with the search button… and I learned new stuff…thanks dude. However a lot more is still unclear… like various technical acronyms which I was never good at.

@ trksh-bzr : weird and expensive I would say…. Has anyone over here ever reported ending up on the streets cos he preferred to buy a watch than pay a loan or something… hehehe

@ tommy_boy : drift where? Malta?? Nah dad is Maltese and have been living here since I was eight years old. I’m not sure why but this Ballon Bleu captured my attention…. And besides its not that expensive (I thought it would be wise to start with something relatively cheap to test the waters!!)

Anyone can give me tips regarding the Ballon Bleu please??

For example I read in previous threads that some who purchased it had problems with the winding dial or something..... what was that and was it fixed in the new models?
