Yes.. it's here. The wonderful land of Vietnam is now making 5 digit sport Rolex cases. Combine that with the new chinese VR3186 movements and you've got yourself an amazing franken.

Better go scoop up 16710 dials while you still can on the cheap. Confirmed every single gen part is a 100% drop in using a VR3186 and this case. Even the damn bezel inserts snap into it perfectly without sanding.

Schematics say that the 3185 is just a tiny bit thinner than the 3186, but made zero difference in the build. This beauty below is the first completed build, but I've got a couple being started also for myself. Will be updating this post with wonderful amounts of patina and serif's.

the lug ends are a bit fat and droopish vs gen, I think they used the same mold for the early 4 digit sub cases for it. The engravings are also kinda wonky, not as deep as the earlier models. Takes time for perfection and all of that can be fixed by some case work.

I am just glad we finally have another option for 5 digit GMTs - we always had a plethora of options for subs but the 167xx was always forgotten.

None that sell direct or have websites. its very early, they will pop up on Ruby or Phong soon probably. Its one of my contacts, I was only able to snag one for myself after this first build.

Be patient, go buy some gen parts first before they shoot up in price.
