Can anyone here suggest a good datewheel for a Tudor Sub without having to purchase an entire movement?
Near impossible, I myself had to buy a junk movement ($30.usd) just fir the vintage datewheel with serfs

I didn't splatter the acrylic paint I put it on by hand using a pin. I rounded the pin head first as my test dial had small holes in the acrylic where I applied it. I also noticed the gen dial doesn't have spots/dots but tends to have uneven shapes so I tried to replicate this
Did you use clear acrylic or colored? If colored, how did you match the color of the original dial?
So think I'm finished with this build. I managed to drop and loose the atheya pip so have put in a modern pearl.
Its been an enjoyable build and I'm pleased with the end result with the dial effect and particularly given the state the case was in originally
Looks awesome bro very well done on the details of the dial indeed. Glad you enjoyed your build and now enjoy wearing it and spending time with it!
Still enjoying mine as well
Agreed.
I wanna be part of the cool crowd too...
