Where to source cartel cases?

Hi all, I've never built a vintage watch before, and previous advice led me to use a cartel case for my first. I couldn't seem to find any retailers online, and was wondering where I could get my hands on a cartel case. Specifically a 5513 submariner case. Thanks in advance!

Any TD should be able to get you one, just shoot them an email.

You best bet for that is TD Marvelous Replicas. Look him up in our TD section. He sells JKF watches extremely cheap and they are very good. For the Subs, his listings here don't show pics for some reason. See the pics on sister forum.

You can buy the watch.... you can get one with a 2836 in it for less than $200 from pretty much every TD. I think they’re trying to get rid of their stock. I’m hoping they have a better version coming out or something. Can’t imagine why they would and have been on sale for so long.

This "sale" has been running for 6 years on Daytonas and 4 years on other vintage Roleys, so I doubt it's an end of line stock dump by JKF! It's just a good deal for the watches through M. We pay a bloody hefty markup on the price for all our reps. M has found that he can get good repeat business (but obviously still make money) from charging less for the JKF models. M is (AFAIK) a one-man band, with no additional costs of a website or staff running round for him. So he's not got the overheads of a PT or TT.

Yea, I think that may be the case too but I hate that there is no re-send if customs issue comes up. I would prefer to pay a little more for customs risk but it is what it is. It sucks because nobody buys and sells those C&R style. They are either horribly modded or have a 2813 in them, which I hate. The Daytonas are standard price from what I've seen from Marvelous and Mary. Mary said she could send another Daytona if the first one gets seized by customs. Subs... no.
