All,
This is part of my collection since it was passed on to me by my grand father. I threw it on the TimeGrapher today, just to see if and how good it runs. I'll repeat that tomorrow now that it is fully wound and see if the oil/fluids are more willing to keep good time tomorrow.
I could only identify this "586" stamped into one of the lugs, no other markings. The numbers don't really give away anything for me.
They are "11209116" and "11505 019". I searched through Google and found nothing on Doxa and those numbers. "11505" appeared to be used in the (German) military, but the brand was different.
The movement is automatic, but allows hand-winding. It is non-hacking, meaning you set the time while the second-hand still runs.
I don't have any tools to open it and even if the case back looks like it, I haven't attempted to open it.
I'm trying to track down this watch, just out of curiosity.
Appreciate that you took the time to read this and welcome your reply.
