Trench Watch

All,

My Dad is looking for a replica "Trench Watch" and I'm struggling to find something suitable. They are pretty similar to later 'pilots' watches but favour a cream/white dial, often roman numerals, seconds @6 and a large crown.

Omega, Longines, IWC, Rolex all made models but I can't find the names/numbers of them to take my search much further.

I've searched on here with no avail and was wondering if anyone has bought one, modded something easily available or can provide any further details?

Gens aren't mega money, however, he wouldn't want to wear one everyday and risk breaking it.

Any information will be much appreciated,

I would suggest an IWC Portuguese F.A. jones.

And the movement is nice looking (handwind).

That was the nearest thing I'd found! Where did you get yours from? The only TD I've seen stocking one so far (and I've not looked at them all) is Toro, but his doesn't look great based on his pics.

He wants that model so I'll be ordering from Puretime in the next day or so.

I've also bought a pile of (probably junk) off EBay, cases, faces, movements and crowns to attempt to build a Franken Trench Watch!

They're small and pretty ugly, but if my old man likes it, it'll be worth it.
