XF will update bronze BB, need advice.

XF maker will update the bronze BB soon, they asking me what flaws need to fixed. You can list here and I will give reply to the maker They will make the final batch of it, want to make sure it is perfect

This is great news! Been waiting for ages for a better version to come out!


In the brown version the main flaw is that the print on the dial does not pop enough and melts with the dial colour.

The colour of the print should be a bit more light gold (similar to the colour of the case) whereas in the rep it's currently almost khaki. The font should also be a bit more 3d.

Also the nato could be better as the center line is completely different and the wave on the gen is much tighter:

kobe24 I think that the blue one was pretty spot on as far as I remember. There was something about the pearl, but not very obvious. And of course the bezel action, they are always too loose on XF watches, they should really adress that!

i had sold mine for that reason (faint dial), but if they remake it properly I'll surely buy back

I think on the blue one it just pops more because there is more contrast between the two colours, but it still could be more 3d

Case shape and colour are ok. Also bezel colour was fine, and much better than ZF which was too red. Main issue with the bezel was the huge amount of play / wobble.

Maybe end of this year, They are going to update bronze models now, and stop producing it after new version sold out.

I just cancelled my order of V6F v3 because somebody directed me to the post. My TD told me today that he double checked with the factory and they have no plan to upgrade to ZF v3. Has anyone followed up if this is really happening?
