Your are correct straycat...yours is a 79280P (polished) see your case (The Tigers are 791280H's I think)..it's polished and says Prince Date.
However, mine are post Big Block's with Oysterdate dials. There are a few dial differences which make these cool.
There are also some 79280P dials that have painted on Arabic dials, jmb as a few of these. One of my 79280's has a Rolex engraved caseback, 93150 and 703 crown and the other has a Tudor Prince case back, a Prince Date bracelet and a Tudor 1703 (I think). The model features are all over the map and this is why I love these.

They are all put together (frankens) for sure. There are very few if any reps made. Yuki however, sells kits and parts to built all of them. The Oysterdate (Datejust) for sure...a case, dial, crown etc less movement. Since Tudor is engineered around ETA movements parts are really, for the most part, easy to source. Some reps make a excellent base watch to start from too....cool shit.

how's your bezel bmw, was it loose?
I wrapped some floss to tighten mine up a bit.

The above watch's distant Canadian cousin. It has the same gen refinished dial, though mine also has a gen 79090 bezel insert. The base watch is a Josh Tidor sub based on the 1680 if memory serves.
