I've got a soft spot for Vic Blackwood too....there's a lovely sheen to it that you don't get elsewhere!

got that right "G" - love 'fiddle' - the Yanks have some stunning pieces made using tiger maple ... would LOVE to make some boxes from that material - I have about a cube of Silky Oak here that is pretty nice as well.
