How much ammo is "enough"?

If you are just looking to keep enough ammo on hand to get you through an ammo recession, like we are just now seeming to come out of, then you are probably good. If you are looking to stock up for a SHTF type scenario, then keep buying until you have nowhere to put it. If economies collapse, then ammo will become a likely currency.

I agree with mswatson, you can never have enough ammo. If you get to a point where you think, "I'm good", go out and buy some more.

According to the federal Gov 10,0000 rounds is the max for any personal collector... but how much should you actually have on hand. As much as possible. Unless its 10mm then you can get buy on like 15 bullets or so because aint no body wants to get shot with that.

No such thing as too much ammo. I have more than anyone I know, and every time I look in my safe I feel anxious about not having enough.
