If a 2836 movement has a Poor/not high quality Keyless Works/parts, and also you don't want your Winding Stem chewed up,
Which parts would you/should you replace? I have not a clue! Would you also replace the Winding Stem with a more durable one? Or just address the Keyless Works parts, using GenETA, and completely leave the Winding Stem alone?

PS. This is a brand new, never been used mvmt. I am simply using the notion that other similar mvmts for this watch have had issues here, and want to upgrade early/right away ;)
Thanks in advance!!

Just note that all ETA movements use the same numbering for the same parts. The movement number must be placed in front of the part number when ordering like Chris shows.

As far as keyless, I would leave well enough alone until you have a problem. They aren't nearly as bad as you're making them out to be.

If anything, I'd agree about the winding gears but I think if you're going to buy all the gears separately you can probably buy the whole bolt on module just as cheap, or close to it.

True. I believe OFrei sells the whole auto bridge but their prices tend to be double what Startime charges - it's good to have (or know someone with) an account ;) those 2 gears are $18 + shipping vs $30+ at OFrei.
