Pam 512 Pic Review.

Second time using Sead, and first step into the world of Panerai.

First of all dealing with Sead was again effortless, his prices are very competitive and his shipping lightning fast.

As for the watch I did a LOT of reading as the panerai section on this forum is incredible. Thank you [MENTION=35350]ALE7575[/MENTION] and [MENTION=64001]kilowattore[/MENTION]

I'm aware the 512 is not a super rep but it ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for.

Wears small, sandwich dial, simple with only hours, mins and sec, Asso strap.

Thanks for sharing the pics. It's a great looking watch and the 42 size is quite interesting. Many choose this watch because they're afraid of the bigger 44 and 47 PAMs, while on the opposite I am hesitating because I think 42 would look too small to me

The only thing I don't quite understand is why kw did not use a faux cp on this rep, they use it everywhere even when unneeded but surprisingly not on this watch where it would have been a great improvement.

Oh yeah I see, good spot.

I don't know enough about Gen Panerai to spot something like that but guess it's a clear tell.

Looks good on the wrist anyway, I might try a more classic, larger Pam next.

I'm very impressed with the Asso strap too, it smells a little funky but looks great.

It's the biggest flaw on my Omega Aqua Terra, the croc strap is really poor, looks like plastic to the point where I'm looking for a used Gen.

A new strap must always be factored in when buying a new rep. Asso straps are nice though, maybe the only rep straps worth keeping.
The CP issue is not very noticeable, only geeks like me look for this stuff
