New Rolex Daytona Predictions

I see there is a lot of discussion over gen boards about how people crave 41 or bigger new Daytona. I have to admit I am a fan of our old plain 40 mm. Fits very well on my non-behemoth wrist, it is very versatile, and it is actually very cool that it is an automatic with full chrono that is just 40 mm in diameter and 12 mm tall.

I would prefer it if they could leave Daytona alone, unless they decide to make steel bezels available again, together with ceramic, just like 6263 and 6265 were offered together back in their time. And maybe a true panda dial (116519-esque) in steel case?

totally agree. there is no reason to change the size of the case. But I guess the same was said about the submariner as well.....

May be a stupid question since all sports rolex watches are always sold quickly, what are the production figures for the new 126710 vs 116710?

If daytona new model is updated to 41mm keeping the black or white variations zenith will sky rocket in price. They did it already and till now available

Hmm, disappointing. Nothing better than what we already have in the rep world. What about the Explorer II?

A WG Batman? What?!

The batman isn't white gold. In other leaks, it is showing as model 126710BLNR. The new change for 2021 is the option of an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet.

That would make a lot more sense for BLNR

Except the ss Daytona isn't even 40mm mate. It's 38.5mm which is just ridiculously small by today's standards. An ACTUAL 40mm Daytona would be great but it seems like you truly don't want that.

Batman in precious metal would be ridiculous. They already have 2 different Pepsi in white gold. Making Batman is white gold would be overkill.

I totally agree with you. Daytona case needs refinement in size.

Have you seen or tried on a gen PM Daytona? Those are indeed 40mm (well 39.6mm to be exact). It is only the SS and YG (bracelet mode) that are 38.5mm.

Yes, it's why I specifically pointed out the ss in particular. I have a 116519 and am content with the size.
