Rolex "coffee table book"

Not long ago I read a post from "spencerswagu" where he posted that he went to AD and showed them a rep and got a "coffee table book". (catalog) In that post I asked about the contents of the book and there was no reply about that, so I guess there was only one way to see what is inside that book!

I decided to go get one of those books (catalog), but I didn't want to break any forum rules about going to an AD with a rep, so I left the reps at home and went with a gen, walked in and asked nicely for a catalog, I was wearing a winter coat so the gen was never even seen. The salesman simply said sure, and handed one over from right behind the glass display counter. Terriffic!

The book is filled with VERY nice photos of their offerings. It appears that Rolex is really pushing their less popular models by having them in the front of the book while the good stuff like the subs were in the back of the book... I also noticed there were no subs or daytonas in any of the display cases... But yes, the book is very nice, and I already saw a few models that I would now go look for a nice TD version.. :)

Below are snapshots of the book, just in case you were like me and wanted to see what was in it. Thanks for looking! and have a nice day.

Legit thanks for this, I was curious too. I was hoping for some lifestyle photo’s inside but it is just indeed a big ol’ catalogue.

I’ll save the trees and won’t bother grabbing one.

I may visit the AD close to me, and see if any are available. Thank you for the post, and also to the fella who bought up the PDF's.

Is it just me or the pictures in the OP make the browser flip out?

The 'coffee table book' is just a catalog/ pricelist with a hardcover. At least it was the last time I picked one up. The images were the same as those on the website. It wasn't remotely special, or interesting really. Have they changed it?

Anyone wanting a real 'coffee table experience' should get the Rolex Magazine instead, which has commissioned photography and editorial. Don't expect too much though - Rolex is still very much a Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, and James Cameron fanfare... There are sometimes some nice history pieces as well. At least the magazine has nicer pictures.

First half of the book is a waste of time lol. By the way, can you PDF scan the book and make it into a downloadable PDF book? lol jk
